Visitors to East Yorkshire's Burton Constable Holiday Park can now access superfast fibre broadband.

Fibre broadband has arrived at the Burton Constable Holiday Park in East Yorkshire, providing a boost to business by enhancing the service site operators can offer to holiday home owners and other visitors.

The high-speed technology has been delivered to the park by KC Lightstream, with over one-third of the properties based on the site already signing up to receive access to the high-speed technology, while free Wi-Fi is now available in the bar too.

In addition, the site has been able to introduce an online booking system, as well as streamlining its administrative and IT operations.

Previously, loading speeds stood at just 0.5Mbps, but these have increased significantly to 75Mbps.

Park operator Sammy Wood explained the situation before better broadband arrived at the site, stating: "I could just about check my emails, but that's all."

However, since superfast broadband has been delivered to the holiday park, she commented: "KC Lightstream has brought the park into the 21st century, helping us save time on administration and meet customers' needs much more efficiently."
