Dave Sharp of Binary Asylum is set to highlight the business benefits of fast broadband access.

UK gaming industry veteran Dave Sharp is set to speak in Lincolnshire as part of a campaign to promote the benefits of fibre optic broadband and other forms of super-fast connectivity.

Mr Sharp of Binary Asylum will give a talk at Horncastle College next Wednesday (July 18th 2012) during a seminar organised by the Lincolnshire Digital Business Cluster.

During his 25 years in the game industry, the developer has worked on more than 90 titles across over 20 different hardware platforms.

The seminar will take place as part of the Online Revolution programme, which is financed by the East Midlands European Regional Development Fund and is designed to raise awareness of how super-fast broadband can help businesses.

Angela Driver, principal development officer for Online Revolution at Lincolnshire County Council, said: "We're really excited to be able to offer Lincolnshire businesses free advice and support, and we hope lots of firms take up this offer."

According to the latest Ofcom figures, super-fast broadband is available to 23 per cent of Lincolnshire.
