Novosco rolls out Cloudstream service to business market

Wednesday, September 4th 2013 by Paul France
IT services provider Novosco has launched its Cloudstream offering.

A string of major firms in Northern Ireland have signed up to take advantage of a new service delivered by cloud technology provider Novosco.

The company has invested heavily in a fibre optic ring that extends across Belfast, which it uses to provide low-cost Ethernet services to businesses.

Several leading employers - including Mivan, Tayto Group, sportswear company O'Neill's and Gordon's Chemists - have already made the switch to Novosco's new Cloudstream offering, which has now launched to the wider market.

Customers can enjoy the benefits of a back-up line as standard with the service, as well as an iPhone app to help them monitor their connection.

Director of Novosco John Lennon predicted that Cloudstream will boost competition in the market due to its high-quality service and low price.

"Internet connectivity is the lifeblood of many businesses, particularly the growing number of companies who are using cloud computing, as well as those who transfer a lot of data and those with multiple sites," he explained.
