Fibre broadband is coming to more communities in Warwickshire.

The next communities to be covered by the CSW Broadband rollout project have been announced, with the arrival of the high-speed technology expected to bring significant benefits to several more locations in Warwickshire.

Curdworth, Hurley, Wellesbourne, Southam, Coleshill, Newton Regis, Kineton and Harbury will all gain access to a fibre broadband connection during the next phase of the multi-million pound programme, which is being run by network provider BT and Warwickshire County Council.

Managing Director of Next Generation Access for BT Bill Murphy commented: "This exciting technology will provide a major boost to the local area."

He went on to explain some of the numerous benefits of a high-speed broadband connection, with these including people being able to work from home more easily and families having the opportunity to access improved internet speeds on more than one device at a time.

Mr Murphy added: "Whatever you do online, you can do more and do it faster with fibre broadband."

In addition to the above communities gaining access to the superfast service, homes and businesses in parts of Nuneaton, Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon are also set to receive an improved connection during this phase of the rollout.
