The adapted pricing structure is designed to enhance margins.

Eclipse Internet has unveiled a new partner pricing structure for its fibre optic broadband products in a move that it claims will help resellers to maximise margins.

According to the broadband company, the revised channel approach means retailers that sell Eclipse packages will enjoy "significantly increased" earnings on new business deals and migrations of existing contracts.

Eclipse's basic partner-only fibre broadband service offers up to 40Mbps download speeds and maximum upload capabilities of 10Mbps, along with monthly usage options of 50GB, 100GB and "truly unlimited".

The move comes after the internet service provider announced in June that it will begin offering improved channel-focused pricing.

Henry West, channel manager at Eclipse Internet, said: "The inflection of fibre to the cabinet is creating market opportunity and our pricing gives resellers a competitive edge that makes broadband something worth selling again."

The news coincided with the launch of the company's new line of fibre optic broadband products aimed at residential customers.
