Fibre broadband to arrive in Bradley Stoke

Bradley Stoke is set to gain access to fibre broadband.

Residents in the South Gloucestershire area of Bradley Stoke are set to gain access to high-speed fibre broadband later this year.

Internet speeds in the community have been called "frustrating-slow" by the Bradley Stoke Journal, but now the publication has reported that service providers have begun to take their first fibre broadband orders in the town.

Those living in the Brook Way and Webbs Wood Road areas - with the 01454 telephone code - of Bradley Stoke will have the option to access the service from next week, with up to 3,500 properties in total getting the connection throughout the coming months.

It is thanks to a rollout programme funded by the government, South Gloucestershire Council and BT that Bradley Stoke is due to gain access to the superfast service.

Originally, it was thought fibre broadband would come to Bradley Stoke in June, but the rollout appears to be running well ahead of schedule.
